Who Needs an IEH Assessment?
How often should you get an assessment is a frequently asked question. Recommendations will differ depending on your industry, risk exposure and existing status, but ideally, all venues with continuous occupancy should get checked once every 6 to 12 months.
Places with existing hygiene problems may need more frequent assessments. For example, those with infectious pathogens, especially the drug-resistant strains would conduct the tests at least every six months to keep track of good cleaning and disinfection practice for the sake of the occupant’s health.
